Office Reviews
Years ago, I realized someone gave our office a one star negative review on Google. The person mentioned that I was uncaring, money oriented and recommend to others not to use my services.
I've been keeping a copy of every patient's history along with their picture and after reviewing this list and asking my front desk CA, we both did not recognize the person as a patient. If you click on the name of the reviewer in Google, you can read other reviews and lo and behold other vendors mentioned this person was not their customer.
What to do? I began a campaign asking patients to place their review on Google and Facebook and told them why. It was not hard to get some beautiful reviews and with each new one the unknown person's review was pushed down the pile and was not viewed. I rather have not received this negative review but salvaging the issue was most important
We live is a social media world and between Facebook's neighborhood pages or using the internet search engines, people ask others and look for positive reviews prior to purchase or visiting a new doctor
So, do you have a webpage (you'll be surprised how many doctors do not, maybe you) and is it updated regularly. This is your community welcome mat, the entry to your services, staff and you. It also is a window that opens to questions potential patients may go to. Be sure it is live, friendly and easy to use. and be sure there is a link for patients to write a review.
Obviously take a peek of the reviews as it is a barometer of your office and the perception it gives off. Tweak that needs tweaking and be sure to reply quickly to the negative reviews and thank those positive.
Take a moment and consider how often you search reviews or ask friends and neighbors for their recommendations. Your website is where they can learn more and your 5 star reviews is a testament to your hard work.
