Every community has professional members, groups and corporations that are an asset to your new patient access. In most urban communities, you can find the four components of demographics for our marketing. Drive around your neighborhood and note where clerical, labor, retail and residential hot spots are. These are areas to plant seeds of health and wellness with chiropractic. Learn to Communicate

 

How about your neighborhood healthcare providers? Primary care provider have their fair share of musculoskeletal patients with chronic pain that meds help but temporarily. Physical therapists are hands on as well but they are not trained in subluxation removal or management and also may recommend your office if their patients prescription referral time has expired. Specialists, even orthopedists and neurologists, would refer to you if you started a campaign contacting those within your area, those you too would refer to. Without getting into a philosophical debate and crossing into their turf, the medical provider will consider a referral to your office if they understood the logistics of referring to you. With managed care insurance the norm, the medical physician can easily refer to other providers within the network and often do once they realize that specific hands on chiropractic care helps. If they are unaware of you and your desire to assist their patients, whose fault is that?

 

 

How about working with the local clerical office or warehouse concerning ergonomics (fitting the employee to their workstation) relating productivity to their physical environment, such as material handling, repetitive typing, prolonged standing and chronic physical and emotional stress. Ideas that enhance an employers work facility while increasing the production of their employees. It reduces work comp costs as well as reduces their walking wounded within their average employee base. Doctor, only those that understand and appreciate your message will take advantage of your skills, are you telling anyone?

 

Whether you desire a personal injury practice or not, a diversified practice has their fair share of auto collision patients. Is there anyone reading this who would not make a beeline to a chiropractor if they or their family were involved in a trauma? I hope not. So, why not contact your local personal injury attorneys and let them know you are interested in assisting their clients get back to form. This is just another avenue to travel towards practice profit and success.

 

Your community has a library, houses of worship and a number of schools. These are venues for your Health and Wellness talks. From Senior Safety and Aging Gracefully classes to Health, Wellness and Nutrition workshops, the only barrier to giving them is your lack of asking and having the tools to provide the best classes.

 

Every season is the best season to start your marketing and public relations programs. Start by canvassing your community and note the best venues to start. Use Google searches to find local professionals from medical providers, attorneys, sports facilities and your corporate neighbors. Begin a telephone and snail/e-mail campaign reaching the proper person that can make it happen. Gather the data to make a credible presentation and be prepared to schedule months of programs.
