E-mail message this week .. Corporate Marketing

As a chiropractor, I consider myself a structural scientist. Is there anyone within the healthcare industry that excels more with prevention and proactive advice as well as conservative treatment than a chiropractor. So, it seems reasonable to meet and greet your corporate neighbors and share your knowledge and expertise.

First step is to review the demographics within a 5-15 mile radius of your office. Since I work in a dense urban area, five miles is sufficient to locate a number of warehouses, office parks and industrial centers. If your office is within a suburban setting or purely residential, no problem, look for municipality centers, professional buildings, libraries, houses of worship where programs concerning general health and wellness may replace the ergonomic issues so needed by your corporate neighbors.

The theme remains the same, share your knowledge and skills. Remember, any lack of your chiropractic business success is related squarely on the lack of community information. It’s a pure win-win, both for your business and theirs which only will thrives with frequent meet and greets.

Second step is to choose where to canvas and what programs would reach the most. Since general stress is a huge concern, I recommend this button be pushed. Structural or physical stress accounts for most of the musculoskeletal injuries found in a clerical or material handling setting. So, begin tailoring ergonomic programs for individual locations such as office parks, warehouse and retail facilities as well as sport facilities. Meeting with safety or human resource management affords you an opportunity to reach the proper channels to make it happen. With the Internet at your fingertips, you become an expert within a few hours of Google searching.

Third step is to create an e-mail, old school letters, phone scripts, educational and evaluation programs as well as set aside time to assist these companies or hire people as advocates for you. The trickier step is this third step, which requires your stepping outside your comfort zone and confront some of your fears of either rejection or public speaking.

If you are in the dark and need help to jump start a marketing plan, I recommend you purchase my Powerpoint Health and Wellness as well as Ergonomic programs. They are $60 per presentation or $100 for two. These are editable and you can rely on me helping your edit it to your office and corporate needs. Just e-mail me your need and I will reply back with he program best for you. Reply to: joel3639@aol.com
