Throughout the pandemic with many offices closed and patient volume down what kept us sane was the reality that people needed our services and we would prevail. But most important was the importance of togetherness. Having a close network of family, friends and colleagues made the journey easier and through numbers stronger. In the insane world we live in there should be a venue or association of like minded folks ready to assist and help us prosper. In our world of chiropractic, it is our state and national associations. Yes, I realize many reading this e-mail are not members of either but that is a mistake. We all benefit from the diligence that association political action committees, lobbying efforts with legislatures as well as a mindful eye on the encroachment of our state scope of practice and inclusion when needed are a few of many benefits that strength in numbers allow. The meager fee to join and help with lobbying efforts helps us all when only a few participate. Also, your lone voice will be heard loud and clear as a member and expand as your ideas take hold. I hope you will consider joining your state association as well as one of the national groups as well. Here in Georgia, I am a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association. Strength in numbers also pertains to your practice. A long day goes much faster the busier you are and patients tend to refer and comply to their care schedule when they sense success and feel the healing power generated within your office. I recommend you plan your Spring and Summer growth schedule with fresh ideas as we finally free the imprisoned life we had to endure these past few years. First plan a few staff meetings to gather the seeds of ideas and determine who will be accountable towards success. A fresh set of eyes and ears besides yourself will generate interest and assure it through. Don’t neglect patients that have influence and also have ideas that would bring potential patients to the office, ask them as well during their visit or even invite them to a luncheon or such for their insight. We have the hands that help they have the mouth and thought that brings others in. In other words, the more involved in your growth and success the better .. Strength in Numbers
Lot’s more to discuss but first plan, create from the seed and plant the idea within your community and stimulate interest with patients during in-office classes, knee to knee discussions or survey them to determine where they work, play and pray and possibly use these venues to educate and lead others with knowledge to your office. There is no limit of new patients just a limit on will to bring them in
