Pre-Resolutions   With the recent unpredictable stock marker, recession and all, your goal is to tighten practice protocols, get out of debt and resolve to make every payment and more. Realize that your best investment is not the stock market but your business. Business does not always require money to grow but knowledge, wise council and prudent management will exponentially increase your bottom line. Weekend seminars, meet and greet with successful colleagues and creating a great team offers more to enhance growth and a profitable practice than buying the latest and greatest stuff. Time expanding staff knowledge and accountability is time well spent as this extends to patient compliance and referrals.  Crack a strong but just whip for staff compliance and teamwork. Ask no less from every member of your team, as they are literally the backbone of your success or failure. They mirror your lead and if your office is rudder and leaderless it will show soon enough with patient slippage, increased internal stress and complacency settling in like quicksand.   Doctor take this week before the New Year to reorganize, regroup, recharge and recreate the excitement you had when you graduated and opened the door day one. Today you have some history, an honest knowledge of what went well and what went wrong. If you were your own consultant, where would you make changes, what areas would you tweak or remove and who needs a kick in the pants or a kick out the door, including you.   Right or wrong, the one person responsible for success or failure is you. Look in the mirror and like Snow White repeat the words: Mirror, mirror on the wall who am I, what do I need to do and who can I depend on to get me there. As you stare intently at yourself remember that it is only you, you see, and there my friends, is your answer. What have you become, are you a mentor to many, a healer to more and a loving soul that attracts others closer? What needs to be done is to acquire and implement sound and cost effective ideas. You can depend on others to follow your lead when you set a clear and reasonable path for yourself.   Doctor this is the time to Pre-Resolve your New Year’s Resolutions   If you are stuck in a rut with nowhere to go or who to ask, reply back and I will help you work it out or get answers for you   By the way, my Atlanta suburb office is still up for sale.
