Thanksgiving is next week and the beginning of the holiday cycle. Even though 2020 is such a horrendous year, there is much to be thankful for.
I had a difficult year and still have much to be thankful for. Besides closing my office for two months in March and April reopening for two months May and June, only to be forced to close again in July due to fracturing my ulnar and radius bones. Life can change on a dime forcing you to adapt or fall prey to the unknown. This is the time when angels appear and guide the way. When x-rays revealed that my fall was no laughing matter and I would not be able to function as a chiropractor for months, I needed to find such an angle that would fit perfectly within my office and be loved by the staff and patients alike. Such an angel was Dr. Suzanne Rivchun. Many reading this e-mail in Atlanta know Suzanne and what a bright light she shines. Coming to my aid with such grace and fitting perfectly in was a lifesaver which I will never forget. I am thankful that she was able to leave her retirement and without any reservations or concern allowed me to heal properly without the stress that could have been. Suzanne, thanks!!! Time also to thank your community and patients who stood with you during such a stressful year and knew that their adjustment was essential and life enhancing. Be thankful if you and family have avoided the covid plague or weathered the storm if stricken. Be thankful if your office avoided a lockdown or weathered financially if it was not possible. Be thankful for your staff who came to work realizing that chiropractic is as important as any frontline warrior. Be thankful
