I hope this recent holiday season brought peace and wellness to you and your family. As we reflect and consider what we coulda and shoulda done in 2024, it is the right time to consider what you will do in 2025 making it your best year yet.
Often, I end my e-mails with this very profound statement:
Remember:
If You Don’t make time for health today
you will have to make time for your sickness later

I realize many struggle with health challenges and find it difficult to get through the day but for most that have an opportunity to literally prevent or manage future struggles, this, as well as those challenged today, the above statement is so true. Everyone has the ability to make things right or ease the challenge, it's the effort and follow through that's tough.

So, as we look towards a better New Year, let's not get too lofty and create goals too difficult to meet, instead, take a moment, a quiet time of the day, and consider baby steps that can be reached one step at a time. One more hour of sleep, one less chocolate treat, one less wee little voice within telling you, you can't, when you know you can, one extra steps for cardio health and one more moment when peace is within. 
 
 
Friends, there is no magic to health. Yes, it may be built into your family genes, your DNA or just luck, but for all its worth, those with best genes, strongest DNA and lots of great luck, it's all for naught if you go against fate as the challenge will catch up.  

So, as I write this and others to follow within this New Year, I ask everyone reading this to consider what you can do, what steps you will take, how you will outline your goals and then check off each one as you see the best of you emerge. As you shed a pound, walk an extra mile, improve your diet, stretch and exercise more, think positively and keep up with your chiropractic adjustments, you will see and feel the difference.
IMPORTANT
You must have accountability so you don't slide down the slippery slope of regret and failure. Don't trust yourself, entrust a family member or friend that will monitor your improvement, tweak a slip and fall here and there and encourage you towards your next goal post.

Consider a "wellness buddy" someone also on the path towards Wellness, someone that will encourage you while in turn you encourage them. What a no brainer, a path to Wellness with someone of like mind using the same baby steps reaching their similar goals

Now it's just a matter of outlining a plan, writing it down, implementing a few each day and making sure you stick to it. Don't be discouraged if you slip since a minor failure leads to a major win.

Okay, difficult for sure but it's just a few days into the new year, you have so many more to get it done. I hear you say "sounds great but unrealistic," no, it's not. Just a matter of how serious you are


So, as we enter 2025 how serious are you? Is there a wellness buddy you can depend on or do you feel strong enough to do it on your own?
