My Message .. Sleep

I wrote the message below for my patient/community newsletter and the number of people reading it and opening the links was outstanding. Besides a healer a doctor is an educator. I have been writing and e-mailing similar e-newsletters for years, just like the ones I send you. Please share this with your patients.

One of the most important components of health is sleep. The purpose of your spinal adjustments is to reduce stress to your spine allowing it to function without neurological interference as well as therapies to your joints reducing physical stress. All well and good but time to relax and heal is during sleep. Too many people are too wired, stressed and have difficulty sleeping. Below, I provide many links to articles and videos that may be useful. Wellness also requires sleep to allow the body to heal from chronic ailments like hypertension, diabetes, digestive issues and auto immune challenges. A health coach may help to guide you towards your wellness goals.

So, today’s message is about sleep. In fact, the most frequent link opened by you my readers concern sleep. So, I guess we all suffer from some degree of sleep deprivation. Better to learn sleep hygiene and sleep positions which I include below. If time allows, check these Youtube videos that may be repetitive but offer sound ideas.
