Be Sure To Click On Highlighted Words For More Information What's Your Plan   Years ago, as a fledging chiropractic student trying to hustle new patients for my student clinic, I concluded there were plenty of potential patients out there but meeting and greeting them was the trick. While being an established doctor with a successful practice time was limited for marketing although maintaining the practice momentum required a plan. With a strong plan gathering new patients is like plucking fruit from a tree   The plan was to always tell the chiropractic story so during the initial consultation, report of findings and financial plans, the story was always being told resulting in an educated and referring patient.
Doctors with the gift to close the deal have patients follow them just like the Pied Piper, agreeing with their recommendations, pay their copay and better pay cash and feel obligated to spread the good news and refer others
Getting new patients is a given, keeping them and having them bring others is the game. So, what’s your plan?
A rudderless ship will be adrift although a captain guided by charts reach their destination safely. So, set successful goals, not too lofty at first, then create action steps to reach them and be sure to share this with your staff and patients. Internally, be sure to establish new patient classes and if you make it mandatory by encouraging their family and friends to attend as well. Watch your practice grow
Find time during the month to add topical classes related to health and wellness integrated with chiropractic and use patient surveys to meet and greet their co-workers during ergonomic and stress management classes where they work and congregate. If you can plan it, they will come and your patient volume will double in no time. Make your office fun, there is no hokiness on the rungs up the ladder towards success. Acknowledge patient birthdays and milestones, feature a patient of the month that has followed their schedule or referred in the most new patients and gather positive testimonials (be sure they sign a waiver .. permission to use it) and share it on Facebook, Instagram and throughout the world of social media.
If you are located in a small town word spreads so use digital and print media to tell your story, sponsor health fairs and be involved in community activities. Use holidays to decorate your office and use the holiday theme and spirit to indirectly enlighten your patients and community that you provide health and wellness while others hang around the world of sickness and disease.
Be the beacon within your community shining light of wellness, nutrition and rehabilitation to help everyone reach their potential. Always strive to provide excellent service both you as a clinician as well as your staff. Be sure to have timely staff meetings, discuss issues and have everyone discuss a solution, have compassion to those patients cooperating but financially unable to maintain their schedule .. make it happen and delegate the above activities to those that can be accountable to get it done   Have questions or need support be sure to reply to this e-mail: joel3639@aol.com and I will do my best to assist, we all need to lean on each.
