Welcome Back
If you are receiving this for the first time in a while, let me assure you that my weekly e-mails have been sent for the past 23 years with very few interruptions other than a few weeks during this recent pandemic. Seems my server was not reaching everyone on my e-mail address list, numbering 4800 chiropractors in 36 countries. Today, we are using a new format and server and transferred the address list, so, if you are reading this welcome or welcome back. Let me get you caught up.
Description
My weekly e-mail may be the longest running blog, for a lack of a better description, within the chiropractic profession being sent since 1997. I include, for free, postings of practices and equipment for sale, doctors seeking employment or doctors looking for associates and questions looking for answers. My Message:
Three weeks ago, I re-opened my office after a two month pandemic break. Practice life has not been the same but fortunately, my 41 year practice did not lose a beat as my great patients and staff returned with masks et al. Being CDC and covid-19 compliant was important for me as I am at the “at risk” age and compromising my health was not an option as I love my children and grandchildren too much. Never did I think that a waiting list practice would be my reality but my very capable CA handling the calls and scheduling has been limiting the numbers within the office, we only have three chairs socially distanced apart rather than the eight as before. I overhear her talking to patients on the phone scheduling them for another day as there is no room at the time they desire today. In the past I would have been furious this being unacceptable but in these crazy times, I am going with the flow and as is, we are busy with new patients calling in as well. I hope you have been safe and your practice is thriving in these trying times. If you have ideas or comments concerning this message or wish topics to be discussed, please reply to me as well.
