It bothers me when I see or hear people giving up because a situation looks hopeless. As chiropractors we often face patients ready to stop treatment because they haven’t responded as quickly as they like. Same if you place them on a nutritional path and they stop their program because they still exhibit symptoms. It’s frustrating to talk truth and make sense while people can’t or won’t hear you with the goal line only yards away. If you have been in practice long enough you know exactly what I mean. How you handle and manage it is the difference between success and failure both financially for you as well as structural and neurologically for your patient.
As doctors, we have circumstances when a patient seems ambivalent and our report seems hopeless but you conjure up the energy to state your case and have them agree to follow your recommendations needing that extra bit of confidence and encouragement to have them follow through.
Same is true if you have marketing skills and they seem to be less giving as they were before. Rather than walking around saying wow is me, you gather your wits and regroup and lean on the successful patterns before and implement. Every marketing event or public relations project may seem overwhelming but with fire in your belly and the attitude of not giving up, you may be surprised with the results. Just takes a bit more encouragement.
Now go out and get them .. keep them .. have them refer others
